Golfclub Reischenhof e.V., located in Wain, is an 18-hole championship course spanning approximately 140 hectares. Founded in 1987, the club developed progressively, opening nine holes in 1989, expanding to 18 holes by 1995, and completing a third nine-hole course by 2002. The layout comprises three interchangeable nine-hole courses (A, B, and C).

Designed by landscape architect Hofmann and golf architect Jersombeck, the course integrates naturally into the Upper Swabian landscape. It features the Weihung valley with flowing streams, multiple ponds and lakes, and distinctive peninsula and island greens situated among natural biotopes and traditional fruit meadows. The design preserves the character of the former estate with views of mature forest.

The course emphasizes environmental stewardship, with only 2% of the total land intensively maintained (tees, greens, and approaches), 36% moderately intensive (fairways and semi-rough), and 62% under extensive management preserving existing natural features. The layout incorporates wetlands, native biotopes, and diverse vegetation integrated harmoniously into the rolling terrain, creating both challenging golf and enhanced ecological value. The course is known as a premier facility in the region and has hosted official tournament play since 1991.
