Golfclub Hainburg is an 18-hole golf course located in Austria, founded in 1977 by Prof. Dr. Kurt Nierlich. The facility underwent significant expansion and renovation to become an 18-hole layout, officially inaugurated in 1994 by Austrian Minister Fasslabend in the presence of notable guests including professional golfers Werner Grissmann and Hansi Hinterseer. The course features a modern driving range, which was ceremonially opened in 2004 by professional golfer Markus Brier, following a groundbreaking in 2003 attended by legendary golfer Seve Ballesteros. The clubhouse underwent further renovation and expansion in 2009. Golfclub Hainburg operates as a member-led club with elected board governance. The course hosts various competitive activities including women's teams, senior matchplay events, and men's team competitions. The facility emphasizes both recreational play and business networking through participation in THE LOGE cooperation, a network connecting exclusive golf courses for business and social purposes.
