Golfclub Gaasterland is a 9-hole natural golf course located in Zuidwest Friesland, designed by course architect Alan Rijks. The course measures 2,800 meters and features six par-3 holes, offering a compact layout suitable for players of various skill levels. Set within a protected natural area spanning 43 hectares, the course provides a unique integration of golf and nature conservation. As the first course in Europe to achieve the Green Label certification with a GEO certificate, Golfclub Gaasterland emphasizes environmental sustainability. Players can enjoy distinctive flora, bird species, and wildlife throughout their round. The course offers practice facilities including a putting green and driving range. Facilities include a clubhouse with restaurant and bar services, golf instruction through Golfschool Rob Oosting, and equipment rentals including trolleys and handicarts. The course hosts NGF competitions and maintains an active tournament calendar. Winter play utilizes temporary tees until March.
