Golf Club Brodauer Mühle e.V. is located near the town of Neustadt in Holstein, close to the Baltic Sea, within the picturesque landscape of Holstein Switzerland. The course transitions from a parkland layout in its opening holes to a hilly terrain from hole 6 onwards, featuring significant elevation changes throughout.

A notable highlight is hole 12, a 549-meter par 5 that challenges golfers with an optional shortcut over hedging requiring approximately 230 meters carry from the yellow tees. This hole's tee box sits at the highest point of the course, offering panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. Hole 13 follows as a distinctive par 3, recognized as among northern Germany's finest short holes.

The course offers varied difficulty levels accommodating different skill levels. The setting provides particularly scenic views in spring when rapeseed fields bloom golden against the steel-blue waters of Lübeck Bay. The club operates seasonally, with extended hours from April through October and limited winter scheduling. A clubhouse with restaurant and terrace facilities provides amenities for completing the round.
