Golfclub Ansbach

Golfclub Ansbach is an 18-hole golf course located in Colmberg, situated between Ansbach and Rothenburg ob der Tauber in the Romantisches Franken region of Bavaria. Founded in 1960, it is among Bavaria's oldest golf clubs.

The course features two distinct nine-hole sections with contrasting landscapes. The front nine (Altmühlrunde) traverses flat terrain near the Altmühl River, while the back nine (Burgrunde) showcases hilly terrain at the base of Hohenzollernburg castle. The 16th hole's panorama tee offers both a sporting challenge and scenic views of the castle.

The course is characterized by varied terrain and natural beauty, offering relaxed golf with panoramic vistas. Located in the water-scarce Frankenhöhe region, the course experiences abundant sunshine, which affects playing conditions seasonally and requires strategic play.

Golfclub Ansbach is known for its informal, family-friendly atmosphere. The facility includes a clubhouse with a sun terrace overlooking the course, practice range with mat tees, and a golf school. The club is a member of Golfregion Franken and welcomes both members and guests seeking leisurely golf in a picturesque setting.
