Golf Club am Meer is located in Bad Zwischenahn in the Ammerland parkland region of northern Germany. The course features 18 holes divided into two layouts: Course A (holes 1-9) and Course B (holes 10-18), along with a short course. The facility is described as one of the most beautiful golf courses in northern Germany, offering scenic parkland settings with picturesque views that complement the golfing experience.

The club provides comprehensive amenities including a driving range, practice greens, pitch and chip area, and practice facilities. Players can access electric carts and trolleys for play. The course accommodates various skill levels through its golf school, which offers instruction from experienced trainers. Golf Club am Meer is a member of Golf-Allianz-Nord, a network of 11 golf clubs across Lower Saxony and Bremen, providing reciprocal playing privileges. The club hosts regular tournaments and social events throughout the year and welcomes both members and guest players through greenfee arrangements.
