Golf- und Landclub Oberpfälzer Wald

Golf- und Landclub Oberpfälzer Wald is situated in the Oberpfälzer Wald region near Neunburg vorm Wald, embedded within a landscape conservation area in the picturesque Oberpfälzer Seenland. The course layout incorporates the natural topography of the surrounding forest, with a well-considered mix of challenging holes alongside long, flat, and wide fairways that balance difficulty with playability.

The signature hole is the ninth, known as the "Waldloch" (forest hole), a distinctive 80-meter downhill descent through a forest corridor with a dogleg that presents a unique challenge and has gained recognition throughout the Upper Palatinate region. The course design allows players to enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding landscape while navigating the demanding terrain. The natural integration into the forest setting creates both challenging conditions and opportunities to play in unspoiled nature. The course features a training area and offers golf instruction through its golf school program. The facility includes a clubhouse restaurant providing regional Bavarian cuisine and welcomes guest players.
