Golf Gahlenz e.V.

Golfclub Erzgebirge e.V. is an 18-hole golf course located at the foot of the Erzgebirge mountains in the Freiberg region of Germany, specifically in Oederan-Gahlenz. The course is divided into two sections: the Clubhaus-Kurs (holes 1-9) and the Parkland-Kurs (holes 10-18).

The layout features a natural character with mature tree stands mixed with new plantings, biotopes, and water hazards that create varied playing conditions. The course welcomes both newcomers and experienced golfers of all skill levels.

Beyond traditional golf, the facility offers Footgolf with 42 permanently installed holes, making it one of Germany's few courses offering this hybrid sport year-round. The course hosts regular tournaments where members can improve their handicaps and experience competitive play.

The facility emphasizes a family-friendly membership structure while providing a peaceful, relaxing golfing environment. The course is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday-Sunday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The clubhouse operates with extended hours on weekends and afternoons during the week.
