Lipica Golf Course is a 9-hole course of medium difficulty located in Sežana, Slovenia, designed by renowned architect Donald Harradine and built in 1989. The course is uniquely integrated into the Karst terrain landscape, with the layout following natural elements including sinkholes and dry-stone walls that present playing challenges. It features a driving range with two sections for long shots, a putting green, and a pitching area. The course is notable for being the only golf facility in Slovenia that operates year-round, benefiting from a mild Mediterranean climate. The golf school operates under centuries-old lime and oak trees near the clubhouse, staffed by professional instructors affiliated with Slovenian and Italian PGA associations. Golf Club Lipica, founded in 1989 with 10 members, has grown to over 400 members and hosts more than 40 tournaments annually. The facility attracts both Slovenian golfers and international visitors from Italy, Croatia, Germany, and Austria.
