Golf El Fresnillo

Golf El Fresnillo, inaugurated in 1999, is located three kilometers from the walled city of Ávila in Spain. The 18-hole championship course features a par 73 layout with wide fairways and predominantly flat terrain across the "El Vaquerizo" estate. The course is characterized by its length as the primary difficulty factor, complemented by water hazards including lakes and a stream that traverse the property.

Set within 140 hectares of natural dehesa landscape, the course integrates seamlessly with the surrounding flora and fauna, maintained with careful environmental stewardship throughout the year. Mature trees, water features, and natural terrain frame the playing experience while protecting local wildlife habitats.

The course accommodates all skill levels and has established itself as a national reference point for competitive golf. Over two decades, it has successfully hosted federation events, national circuits, commercial tournaments, and social competitions. The facility is part of the larger Naturávila sports complex, which includes additional amenities such as shooting ranges, equestrian facilities, tennis and padel courts, and on-site hotel and restaurant options. Its proximity to Madrid—approximately one hour away—has made it a preferred venue for sporting events and corporate functions.
