Located in Champigny-sur-Marne within the 73-hectare Parc du Tremblay in the Val-de-Marne department, Golf du Parc du Tremblay is a compact urban facility situated just east of Paris. The course is designed as a 9-hole layout with a par of 27, spanning a total distance of 928 meters. It is structured to allow players to complete the nine holes in approximately 90 minutes, effectively offering the equivalent of 18 holes in under three hours when played twice. The facility also includes a separate 6-hole pitch and putt course designed for beginners and families. The course is characterized by its challenging approach shots, with greens heavily defended by numerous bunkers. Holes 1, 6, 7, and 9 are classified as par 3s, featuring difficult green attacks that require precision. The 9th hole is notable for its length of 202 meters, allowing players to utilize a driver or wood off the tee. The layout is designed to be accessible yet demanding, serving as a reference point for compact urban golf design in France. Practice facilities are extensive, featuring 60 hitting stations, including 30 covered positions equipped with TrackMan Range technology. This setup allows for year-round training regardless of weather conditions. The practice area spans 250 meters and is equipped with numerous targets to help golfers work on various trajectories. The facility handles over five million balls annually, making it one of the most frequented practice grounds in the eastern Paris region. Golf du Parc du Tremblay has established itself as one of the first compact urban golf courses in France. Its design and efficiency were recognized by the French Golf Federation, which hosted a delegation from 15 European countries for a site visit in 2019. The course hosts ranking competitions for players with handicaps ranging from unclassified up to 26.5, catering to a wide spectrum of skill levels from beginners to more experienced golfers.
