Golf de Servanes ☆ Follow

Located in Mouriès at the foot of the Alpilles in Provence, Golf de Servanes is an 18-hole course designed by architects Thierry Sprecher and Gery Watine. The layout is carved into the white rock of the Alpilles Regional Park, winding through 4,000 olive trees and 40 hectares of greenery. The course is set within the grounds of the former Domaine de Servanes, an olive oil farm where the name derives from the Provençal word for a source of water. The club’s facilities, including the reception and restaurant, occupy historic buildings that were originally a blacksmith’s and a sheep barn. The terrain features undulating fairways bordered by olive groves and cascading lakes, with the latter part of the round finishing among maritime pine trees. The course includes a mix of hole types, from tight par-4s to long par-5s, with yardages varying by tee color. Notable challenges include the 5th hole, rated as the most difficult on the course with an out-of-bounds area on the right, and the 6th, a par-3 island green that requires precise club selection. The 13th hole stands as the longest on the layout, featuring a 90-degree bend to the left near the green. Golf de Servanes opened its first nine holes in 1988, with the full 18-hole course completed the following year. Management passed to the Resonance Golf Collection in 1993. The course is known for its integration with the local landscape, offering views of the Alpilles and playing through areas scented with thyme and lavender. It has hosted events such as the Respirez Golf Trophy, a charity competition for COPD support, and has been nominated for the 2026 Excellence Awards by 59club at Terre Blanche.
