Golf de Saumane is an 18-hole championship course located in the Vaucluse hills, offering panoramic views of the Luberon and Alpilles mountains. Designed by Jean Garaïalde in 1989, the course draws inspiration from the Carpentras Canal and the region's naturally undulating landscape featuring rocky escarpments and small woods. The layout extends 6,191 meters from the white tees and incorporates 38 strategically positioned bunkers. The course features typical Provençal vegetation including pine trees, olive groves, and plantings of laurel, roses, lavender, and rosemary. Set near the picturesque village of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, just 3 kilometers away, the facility includes a pro shop, practice area, restaurant, bar, and panoramic terraces overlooking the course. An on-site residence with pool, tennis courts, and fitness facilities is also available. The club offers professional instruction through its golf school and hosts private events, conferences, and seminars.
