Golf de Salouël ☆ Follow

The Golf de Salouël is a nine-hole course located in Salouël, just outside Amiens in the Hauts-de-France region of France. The 17-hectare site, situated on undulating terrain, features a total length of approximately 2,150 to 2,173 meters with a par of 33. The layout was designed by architects Mark Adam and Patrick Fromanger of Adam Golf Design, with the course opening in 1987 or 1988. The site was originally the location of the Coccinelle Parc amusement park before being repurposed for golf. The course is structured to accommodate a wide range of skill levels, from beginners to experienced players. The nine holes vary in difficulty, with par 3s, par 4s, and a par 5 hole distributed throughout the round. Handicap indices for the holes range from 2 to 17, indicating a mix of accessible and more challenging segments. The facility includes a practice area, a putting green, and a small clubhouse, supporting both casual play and structured training. The club maintains an active competitive and educational program, hosting regular tournaments such as the Challenge Civodul and the Vision Cup. It also runs a golf school that serves between 50 and 120 young players, alongside veteran golfers. The course has received recognition for its environmental efforts, obtaining the Bronze label in the Golf for Biodiversity program. The club currently has over 600 licensed members, making it one of the more active golf associations in the region.
