Golf International de Montgenèvre is situated at 1,860 meters altitude, making it the highest golf course in the Hautes-Alpes region. The course features 18 transnational holes with a par of 66, complemented by a 9-hole national course (par 34) and a 9-hole compact course (par 27), plus practice facilities.

Located in the French Alps near the Italian border, the course offers a unique international play experience. In partnership with the adjacent Italian golf course at Clavière, golfers can play an 18-hole transnational round by crossing the border at holes 6 and 15, with play available from late May through late September.

The terrain is characterized by steep fairways and technical challenges typical of high-mountain golf. The combination of both courses provides architectural variety and diverse shot requirements. The setting encompasses alpine landscape with dramatic elevation changes, delivering a distinctive high-altitude golfing experience that integrates both French and Italian territory within a single round.
