Club De Golf Lorraine is an 18-hole championship golf course located in Lorraine, Quebec, approximately 30 minutes northwest of Montreal, accessible via Highway 640 Exit 26. Designed by Master Professional Arnold McLean Sr in 1960, the course was conceived as a naturally integrated layout offering fair challenge to golfers of all skill levels.
The course features mature trees throughout and natural water hazards formed by streams that define the layout. The picturesque setting emphasizes the natural landscape characteristics of the Lorraine area. The facility operates as a full-service golf club and sports center, managed by the same family since its founding.
Arnold McLean Sr was an accomplished golf professional with significant credentials in Canadian golf, having won numerous tournaments and served as president of both the Professional Golfers' Association of Canada and Quebec. He was among the first Canadian master professionals to design and operate his own golf club, establishing a model followed by subsequent golf professionals.
The course remains operational as a family-managed facility, offering both golf and winter ice skating amenities to the regional golfing community.
