Golf de Jumièges is an 18-hole championship course located in Normandy, approximately 30 minutes from Rouen. Designed by architect J.P. Fourès and opened in 1991, it was the first public golf course in Haute-Normandie. The course spans 62 hectares within a Regional Natural Park, situated in a scenic loop of the Seine River near the historic Abbey towers.
The layout features fairways carved through woodlands with some gently rolling terrain, requiring accurate driving. The course presents moderate difficulty with tightly defined fairways that demand precision from the tee. The natural setting combines forested areas with views of the surrounding valley and river landscape.
Beyond the main 18-hole layout, the facility offers a 9-hole compact course for varied skill levels. The course operates as an eco-golf facility and provides comprehensive amenities including a restaurant, hotel accommodation, pro shop, and practice facilities. The setting in an agricultural region known for fruit orchards and historical landmarks creates a distinctive Norman golfing experience.
