Golf d'Hossegor is one of Europe's top 50 courses, located in southwestern France within a forest of pines and cork oaks. Designed by Arnaud Massy and John Morrison in 1927, the course features a distinctly British layout built on sandy soil protected from coastal winds. The championship course underwent modern adaptations by Cabell Robinson in 2003 to update greens, bunkers, and tee positions, with the most recent measurements taken in 2023.
Set in an exceptional natural environment at the heart of the Hossegor seaside resort, the course has hosted numerous national and international competitions. The layout presents moderate to challenging conditions typical of links-style courses. The club maintains a strong junior golf program with over 120 young players, having produced notable champions including Jean Van de Velde. Facilities include a practice range, putting green, pro shop, restaurant with golf course views, and caddy master services for equipment rental.
