Located in New Cairo City on the Ring Road, the Katameya Heights Golf & Tennis Resort features an 18-hole championship course designed by French architect Yves Bureau. The course plays to a par 72 and measures 6,800 yards from the back tees. It is complemented by a separate nine-hole course, also par 72 in total configuration but listed as par 35 and 2,985 yards for the nine, providing additional variety for play. The facility maintains Bermuda grass greens using Tifdwarf turf, while the tees, fairways, and rough are surfaced with Tifway grass. The course offers multiple tee boxes to accommodate different skill levels, including black, gold, and blue tees for men, as well as white and red tees for ladies. This setup allows for adjustable difficulty and yardage, ensuring the layout is accessible to a wide range of handicaps. All players are required to hold an official handicap index to play the course. The resort supports play with a fleet of club cars, pull carts, and a limited number of caddies, alongside a pro shop and locker room facilities. A key feature of the resort is its comprehensive academy and practice facilities. The grounds include a double-ended driving range with seven target greens, three practice greens for putting and chipping, and sand play areas. The academy is equipped with teaching aids and staffed by two Egyptian golf professionals, offering lessons for beginners through to advanced players. The facility also hosts a robust tournament schedule, including the annual Club Championship, the Katameya Heights Amateur Open, and a traditional rivalry match against the nearby Dunes Golf & Beach Club.
