Education City Golf Club is Qatar's premier golfing destination, located in the heart of Doha within Education City. Officially opened in 2019 under Qatar Foundation patronage, the course was designed by renowned Spanish golfer José María Olazábal, marking his first Middle East design. The facility spans 120 hectares and features 33 holes across three distinct courses: an 18-hole championship course, a 6-hole floodlit championship course, and a 9-hole floodlit par-3 course, accommodating golfers of all skill levels.

The design incorporates natural features, including a wadi (dry riverbed), which adds character and elevation changes to the otherwise flat terrain. The course utilizes drought-tolerant Platinum TE Paspalum grass and TSE water for irrigation, featuring a state-of-the-art system with soil moisture sensors and weather stations for sustainability.

Education City Golf Club hosted the prestigious Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, a European Tour event. Notable course records include a 63, held jointly by Alexander Bjork and Pablo Larrazabal. The facility boasts a Centre of Excellence with five high-tech tuition studios, an indoor putting lab, a TrackMan-equipped driving range, and performance studios featuring advanced swing analysis and custom-fit technology, establishing it as a world-class facility.
