Located inside Dhaka Cantonment, Army Golf Club is a 36-par, 2945-yard course situated on 55 acres of land. The facility is positioned between Hotel Radisson to the south, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to the north, and Nikunja to the east. The club was inaugurated on May 26, 2001, by the then President of the Club and Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen M Harun-Ar-Rashid. The layout is characterized by strategic water hazards, bunkers, and ponds that add to the course's beauty. Fairways are separated by lines of coconut, betel nut, jackfruit, mango, litchi, and palm trees to preserve the environment. The second and fifth fairways are shaped like dog-legs, while a small forest-like orchard is located at the northern side of the third fairway. A lake at the north provides additional security to the course. The club maintains the course to international tournament standards, making it a playable round-the-year facility. Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, and dedicated chipping areas. The club also features a two-story clubhouse with a lounge, cafe, pro shop, and restaurant, alongside a banquet hall known as the Golf Garden.
