The Golf Course in Prato, Tuscany, near Florence, is an 18-hole, par 72 layout designed by Arnold Palmer. The site is set within an ancient park that was once part of the Leopoldo dei Medici estates, featuring a restored nineteenth-century villa. The terrain is characterized by undulating fairways, native tree plantings, and significant water hazards that define the strategic nature of the course. The design incorporates Palmer's signature elements, including treacherous gullies, island fairways, and greens protected by bunkers and water.

The course presents a varied challenge with a total yardage ranging from 165 meters on the shortest par 3 to 516 meters on the longest par 5. Hole 5, a 200-meter par 3, features a large water hazard that laps the green. Hole 16, a 516-meter par 5, is flanked by out-of-bounds areas and treacherous bunkers. Several holes are noted for their difficulty, including Hole 2, where a water hazard reaches under the green, and Hole 13, a narrow island fairway flanked by canals that is considered one of the most difficult on the course. Conversely, Hole 14 is identified as the easiest hole, though it still requires care regarding a water hazard on the left.

Notable features include the island fairways on Holes 4, 6, and 13, which require precise tee shots. Hole 6 is described as the most scenic, with a tricky approach protected by water and a large bunker. The course also features significant bunkering, such as the large bunkers protecting the green on Hole 9 and the numerous bunkers on the challenging par 5, Hole 11. The layout demands accuracy off the tee and careful approach shots, with water hazards playing a critical role on holes 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 14, and 18.

The club was established twenty years ago by a group of passionate players, integrating the natural landscape with the golf course. The setting includes 1,800 newly planted native trees and flower banks around water obstacles, greens, and tees. The course has received the National Award "Committed to Green" for eco-sustainable golf in 2021, reflecting its environmental stewardship. The facility caters to players of various skill levels, offering a challenging round that tests ability through strategic design and natural hazards.
