Located in Narbolia on the west coast of Sardinia, Is Arenas Golf is an 18-hole, par-72 course designed by the renowned architects Robert Von Hagge, Smelek & Baril. The layout spans approximately 6,300 meters and is set within the 1,100-hectare Is Arenas Pinewood, a landscape characterized by sand dunes, pine and juniper forests, and proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. The course is complemented by a three-hole par-3 executive course and a driving range. The terrain presents a distinct challenge, with each hole offering a different landscape and requiring a blend of stylish play, astute strategy, and proper execution. The course is framed by dense vegetation, including a canopy of pine and juniper trees that have been carefully managed over decades to restore natural diversity. The setting provides a unique environment where the natural elements of sand, dunes, forest, and water blend together, creating a varied playing experience that changes with every hole. Is Arenas Golf has achieved significant recognition in the golfing world. It was the first course in Italy to receive the European environmental certification "Geo on Course" from the Golf Environment Organization in 2013. The course has been ranked 16th in "The 20 most beautiful golf courses in Italy" by Mondo del Golf magazine and currently holds the number one spot in Sardinia and 13th in Italy in the Top 100 golf courses international ranking. It is also listed among the most spectacular golf courses in Europe by the Rolex guide.
