Golf Club am Reichswald is Nuremberg's only golf course and a member of the prestigious Leading Golf Clubs of Germany since 2001. Located in a woodland setting (Reichswald), the course is characterized by its natural forest environment offering a distinctive playing experience. The facility features both 9-hole and 18-hole options, with play available without requiring advance tee time reservations—a notable operational feature. The course employs seasonal management practices, including winter tees and greens to protect the landscape during colder months. Founded in 1960, the club has grown to over 800 members and hosts more than 40 championships annually, with six tour players representing the club. The course is situated in a carefully maintained natural setting that emphasizes environmental stewardship. An on-site restaurant, Eagle's Kitchen, operates under chef Christian Brieske, offering Franconian fine dining. The club welcomes guest players and maintains high quality standards consistent with its Leading Golf Clubs membership status.
