Golf International de Clément Ader ☆ Follow

The Golf International de Clément Ader is located in Gretz-Armainvilliers in the Seine-et-Marne department, approximately 35 minutes from the center of Paris. The course is set within a 72-hectare natural domain bordered by century-old trees. The site holds historical significance as the location where Clément Ader conducted the first powered airplane flight in 1890, with the Eole aircraft lifting off from the grounds of the Château de Madame Péreire.

The 18-hole layout was designed by architect Michel Gayon, with Erwan Dargère credited for their expertise in the conception and renovation of the course. The design incorporates multiple tee boxes to accommodate players of varying skill levels, ranging from beginners to experienced golfers. Key characteristics of the course include island greens and a terrain that blends technical challenges with playability.

The facility operates as a multifunctional complex that includes an academy for young golfers, an association for members, and services for green fee players. The site offers on-site accommodation and dining, alongside facilities for private and professional events. The course is currently undergoing transformation and renovation.
