Glasgow Golf and Country Club is a private, 18-hole golf course located in South Central Kentucky at 350 Country Club Road in Glasgow. The course was established in 1934 and opened for play in 1936. The back nine was designed by Buck Blankenship. The course features a par-71 layout measuring 6,169 yards from standard tees, with championship yardage extending to 6,277 yards and a slope rating of 125. Multiple tee options are available, including black tees at 6,277 yards, blue tees at 6,038 yards, white tees at 5,246 yards, and red tees at 4,921 yards, all with a par of 71.
The course design emphasizes mature tree-lined fairways winding through the rolling hills characteristic of South Central Kentucky. The greens are elevated and sloped, constructed of Bentgrass, while Bermuda Grass comprises the fairways. The design provides a rewarding challenge for golfers of all skill levels, with four different tee markers allowing members and guests to enjoy the experience based on their abilities. The club offers comprehensive facilities including a large swimming pool with snack bar, two tennis courts, and a versatile clubhouse accommodating functions from large receptions and business meetings to intimate dinners. A bar and outdoor patio overlooks the 18th green.
