Established in 1897, Germiston Golf Club is an 18-hole par 72 course featuring long par 4s, meticulously rounded greens, and challenging par 3s. The club maintains its original "Old English" charm and is nestled in the heartbeat of Germiston. Large kikuyu fairways bordered by Victoria Lake provide a forgiving landscape, with the lake coming into play on several holes. The course's most formidable feature is the artful design of small, well-protected greens that test strategic play. The course is steeped in history and tradition as one of the finest woodlands style golf courses in Gauteng. The course was ranked one of Golf Digest's top 100 courses in South Africa in 2010.
