Georgia Southern University Golf Course

The Georgia Southern Golf Course is a public 18-hole championship course located on Georgia Southern University's Statesboro campus in Bulloch County. Spanning 167 acres in a residential setting, the course measures 6,900 yards and features six tees at each hole to accommodate all skill levels.

Opened on October 1, 2013, the course was developed on the grounds of the former Southern Links Golf Course, which operated from 1985 to 2009. The facility has become an award-winning venue that serves both the university community and the general public.

The course offers comprehensive amenities including a practice range with 30 stations and a 10,000-square-foot putting green. The clubhouse includes a pro shop and café, along with meeting facilities. PGA-certified professionals provide golf instruction through private lessons, group lessons, and practice games. The course hosts tournaments, leagues, and daily play throughout the year, with options for walking play Monday through Friday and after 12:00 p.m. on weekends. Golf cart rentals are available, and the facility maintains USGA-governed rules with local modifications.
