George Young Golf Course is an 18-hole course designed by George Young himself, located in Crystal Falls, Michigan on a 3,000+ acre property. The course opened for community use in 1984 and is situated in the scenic Upper Peninsula landscape. Built on generously donated land, the course reflects George Young's vision as an avid golfer to provide affordable recreational opportunities for the Iron County community. The facility benefits from its expansive natural setting, offering golf enthusiasts access to the beauty and outdoor character of the Iron County region. Beyond the course itself, the property encompasses diverse recreational amenities including an aquatics center, hiking and biking trails, fishing and paddling opportunities, and winter activities. The clubhouse, constructed in 1993, serves as a gathering space for golfers and visitors.
