Genjiyama Golf Club is a 72-par, 18-hole course located in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, which opened in September 1977. The layout is divided into two distinct nines. The front nine is characterized as a hilly course built on a gently undulating plateau, while the back nine offers a more thrilling experience with a series of challenging holes. The course is particularly noted for its signature holes, the 13th and 15th, which are described as famous holes that evoke the terrain and scenery of Augusta. The 13th is a par-4 downhill-to-uphill middle hole where players must navigate out-of-bounds on the left and a red penalty area on the right. The green is obscured from the tee, making bunker placement around the green a critical hazard. The 15th is a par-5 long hole that also plays downhill to uphill, with shallow out-of-bounds running along the left side toward the green. Similar to the 13th, the green is not visible from the tee, requiring precise distance control. Yardage varies significantly depending on the tee boxes, with the back tees measuring 6,545 yards and the ladies' tees at 5,416 yards. The course is a member's club operated by Genjiyama Golf Club Co., Ltd., and is affiliated with the JGA, KGA, and CGA. While the facility includes a 12-strike driving range, it does not offer on-site accommodation.
