Designed by Rowland Armacost, the General Electric Athletic golf course opened in 1930. The par-36, 3,183 yard nine-hole course is very well maintained and comes with a nice mix of challenges. The fairways are wide open on most of the holes and many are long enough to use a driver off the tee. The General Electric Athletic Golf Course is located in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.

The course offers back-to-back par-5s on the fifth and sixth holes with the sixth hole being the longest on the course at 569 yards. One of the more challenging holes on the course is the ninth hole, a long par-4 at 399 yards. Many of the holes offer great views of the nearby mountains and the mature landscaping allows for very enjoyable scenery. With sand traps and long fairways, each hole offers an appropriate challenge for beginners and experts. There are also small woodsy sections against the course, which provide scenic views and extra obstacles.

The facility is open to the public, and golf carts are available for rent. The course also has a nice driving range right on site. Near the parking lot, visitors will find a small clubhouse and restaurant. This facility frequently hosts events throughout the warmer months of the year.
