Fukuoka Seven Hills Golf Club is a 72-par, 18-hole course located in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, Japan. The layout features a mix of par-3, par-4, and par-5 holes, with a total yardage of 6,655 yards from the Blue Tees and 6,258 yards from the Green Tees. The course is designed with significant elevation changes, including a 20-yard drop on the 15th hole and a 15-yard rise on the 16th, contributing to its strategic complexity. The terrain is characterized by undulating fairways and multi-tiered greens, particularly on holes 4, 9, 13, and 17, where the back sections of the putting surfaces are elevated. This design demands precise approach shots, as balls landing in the lower sections may roll back toward the player. The course is notably tight, with out-of-bounds areas flanking many holes, including the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th, and 18th holes. The 3rd hole presents a 230-yard carry over a valley from the Green Tee, while the 5th hole offers a long 556-yard challenge from the Green Tees. Strategic placement is essential throughout the round. The 1st hole requires a drive to the left side of the fairway to avoid OB, while the 6th hole features a central bunker that players must navigate. The 13th hole, a par-4, is described as a dogleg right with a par-5 difficulty, requiring careful positioning off the tee. The 15th hole, a par-3, drops 20 yards, while the 16th, a par-4, rises 15 yards, creating distinct challenges for approach shots. The club hosts various internal competitions, including the Club Championship, Grand Senior Championship, Ladies Championship, and monthly regular cups for different skill classes. The course accommodates players of varying abilities with five sets of tees: Green, Blue, White, Gold, and Red, with yardages ranging from 5,133 yards on the Red Tees to 6,655 yards on the Blue Tees.
