Aoyamadai Golf Club is located in Tamba-Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture, set within a landscape that offers views of the expansive Taki mountain range. The 18-hole course spans 802,000 square meters and was designed by Teruo Ohkawa, with construction handled by Tsubeyama Construction Industry and Nakatani Kobo. The club opened on April 29, 1974, and is managed by Nishinihon Kanko Co. The layout is divided into two distinct halves. The front nine, or back nine depending on direction, is characterized by its relatively flat terrain, taking advantage of the gentle topography. The opposing nine provides a more strategic challenge, described as thrilling and strategy-rich. The course plays to a par of 72, with yardages of 6,580 yards from the back tees, 6,281 from the middle tees, and 6,053 from the front tees, carrying a course rating of 72.2. The signature holes include the par-5 14th, the longest on the course at 573 yards from the back tees, and the par-4 1st, which measures 400 yards from the back. The short par-3s offer contrasting challenges: the 5th hole stretches 166 yards from the back tees, while the 13th is a manageable 177 yards. The back nine features another demanding par-5 in the 18th hole at 442 yards, and the 11th hole presents a 410-yard test. The course is equipped with a 250-yard driving range featuring 40 hitting bays. The club does not have on-site lodging but partners with nearby accommodations such as Unitopia Sasayama and Ojiyama Park Sasayama-so. Membership is available through regular and weekday rates, with the club affiliated with the JGA, KGU, and NGK.
