Located in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Nomozaki Golf Club is a seaside course designed by renowned architect Toshisuke Kato. The 18-hole layout is set against a backdrop of long coastlines, islands, and distant mountains, with every hole offering views of the deep blue sea. The course is recognized as a full-fledged championship track that has hosted the Goeyo Construction Ladies Tournament. The total yardage varies by tee, ranging from 5,244 yards on the red tees to 6,622 yards on the black tees, with a standard par of 72. The front nine measures 3,425 yards from the black tees, while the back nine is slightly shorter at 3,197 yards. The design demands both power and technical precision, earning the course a reputation comparable to the prestigious Kawana resort in western Japan. The front nine features a mix of challenging par 4s and par 5s. The third hole, a par 4 with a handicap of 3, requires a safe tee shot to the right side, followed by a difficult approach over rocks to the green. The sixth hole, the most difficult on the course with a handicap of 1, is a long par 4 where players must clear a large mound and tree line. The ninth hole is a 557-yard par 5 featuring a large rock in the center of the fairway and five sand bunkers guarding the right side of the green. The back nine presents a series of demanding par 4s and 3s. The thirteenth hole is a short but treacherous par 3 where a large water hazard surrounds the green, leaving no margin for error. The fourteenth hole is a short par 4 played to a raised, platform-like green that punishes aggressive approaches. The eighteenth hole serves as a strategic home hole, with a large water hazard on the left side of the green forcing players to consider their line carefully.
