Göteborgs Golf Klubb

Göteborgs Golf Klubb, founded in 1902, is Sweden's oldest golf club. Located in Hovås between Askimsviken and Skalldalen, the course is situated on meadowland below the local church, offering commanding views across the landscape. The club operates year-round with seasonal variations in course access. During winter months, a shorter nine-hole loop remains open for members, with mat play mandatory on the driving range. The course is complemented by dining facilities, with a restaurant scheduled to reopen in mid-February and the Hovås Golf Krog restaurant operating seasonally.
