Fujizakura Country Club is situated at 1,000 meters elevation in the northern foothills of Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Located approximately 6 kilometers from the Kawaguchiko interchange, the course is positioned in the Fujizakura Plateau, a serene resort area near the Five Lakes of Fuji, offering panoramic views of Mount Fuji from nearly all holes. The 18-hole layout comprises OUT and IN courses with a practice facility. The course emphasizes strategic design, challenging golfers to engage their tactical skills through thoughtful course setup. The club is a members-only facility requiring caddy service with motorized carts for all rounds. It features a traditional Heian-period style clubhouse incorporating Japanese architectural elements, and serves as the venue for the Fujizakura Challenge Cup and has hosted major tournaments including the Roppongi Fuji Sankei Classic.
