Located in Gotemba, Shizuoka, Fuji Heigen Golf Club is a nine-hole facility that opened in 1959. The course is designed to offer views of Mount Fuji from every hole, a feature highlighted by five designated "best view points" across the grounds. The layout is divided into three distinct nine-hole loops: the Fuji Course, the Hakone Course, and the Tanzawa Course. The Fuji Course is the longest of the three, featuring wide fairways that allow for powerful drives. It consists of straight holes that total 3,484 yards from the back tees for a par of 36. The Hakone Course offers a strategic challenge with dogleg holes and a total yardage of 3,339 yards, also playing to a par of 36. The Tanzawa Course is shorter, requiring accuracy over distance, with a total yardage of 2,826 yards and a par of 35. The facility is situated in a landscape that emphasizes the visibility of Mount Fuji, with specific holes like the first and fourth on the Fuji Course and the third, seventh, and ninth on the Tanzawa Course noted for their scenic outlooks. The club provides yardage information for back, front, and ladies' tees for each of the nine holes, allowing players to gauge the difficulty and length of the course based on their skill level.
