French Creek Golf Club features an 18-hole course designed by Gil Hanse, nestled into the rolling landscape of Chester County. The course plays at 6,725 yards with a par of 71, and opened in 2003. The design incorporates Hanse's background in Scotland and work with Tom Doak, gracing the 18 holes with old-world charm while incorporating tweaks for the modern player. The course is beautifully set on rolling Pennsylvania farmland with very expansive views, features terrain variations and natural wetlands, and includes rustic, rugged bunkering that adds to the challenge.
Notable holes include the #6 uphill par 5, the #15 downhill and driveable par 4, and the #3 par 3 playing 220 yards from the tips with a 200-yard forced carry. The course is ranked 37th best in Pennsylvania. The golf course encompasses 230 scenic acres and plays approximately 13,000 rounds per year, operating as a private club membership facility.
