Fowler's Mill Golf Course is a Pete Dye-designed masterpiece located in Chesterland, Ohio, approximately 30 minutes east of downtown Cleveland in Geauga County. Built in the 1970s, the course features 27 holes divided into three nine-hole layouts: Lakes, River, and Maple, allowing players to experience different combinations for varied play.
The course is set on scenic country terrain with pristine fairways and greens carved through beautiful landscape, featuring no residential development visible from play. The design demands use of the full complement of clubs and presents a challenging yet engaging layout. The course has earned significant recognition, including ranking as Ohio's Best Public Course by GolfWeek (2021) and being rated as the 20th Best Course Layout in the U.S. by Golf Advisor (2016) and the 8th Best Pete Dye Course nationally (2015).
Fowler's Mill features a Western Reserve-style clubhouse with a well-stocked pro shop and casual dining grille room. The facility includes the Pete Dye Room for banquets, corporate events, and wedding receptions, making it suitable for tournaments and special gatherings.
