Fish Lake Country Club is a 9-hole golf course located 3 miles east of Plankinton, South Dakota, founded in 1914 by local sportsmen from the Plankinton and Mount Vernon area. The course was originally built on state-owned land around Fish Lake, which later became part of a state game refuge managed by the Department of Game, Fish and Parks.

The course maintains its original 9-hole layout and is known for its well-maintained conditions despite its small size. The club emphasizes a friendly, inviting atmosphere welcoming both serious and recreational golfers, with a strong family-oriented focus. The pristine course conditions are attributed to the club's devoted greens keeping staff and active volunteer members.

Recent improvements include completion of a cart path from the clubhouse to the women's tee box on Hole #2, and planned spring 2025 projects include dredging the pond on Hole #7 for irrigation purposes. The club hosts tournaments throughout the year and maintains an active membership that participates in organized events such as Wednesday Men's Night.
