Falköpings Golfklubb is located in Falköping, Västergötland, situated between the plateau mountains Ålleberg, Mösseberg, and Billingen. The club was founded in 1965, with construction on the course beginning the following year. The facility comprises a total of 27 holes, divided into an 18-hole course and a separate 9-hole course. The 18-hole layout was expanded from an initial nine holes in 1974 to its current full configuration. The 18-hole course is described as a park course characterized by small, slightly elevated greens that provide both challenge and reward for golfers. The distance between greens and tees is kept short to maintain a pleasant pace of play. The 9-hole course, which was completed in 2006, is shorter, narrower, and more technical than the main course, prioritizing precision over distance. It features tricky greens and offers a view of the plateau mountain Billingen from the ninth tee. The course is known for its accessibility and fast turnaround times, particularly on the 9-hole layout which offers pay-and-play options. The club has hosted events such as the Telia Tour for Ladies during the inauguration of the 9-hole course. The facility also includes practice areas and caters to juniors and adults through various training groups and competitions.
