Hencse National Golf & Country Club is Hungary's most romantic golf course, located in the heart of the Zselic region's picturesque countryside. The 18-hole championship course opened in July 1994 and stretches 6,206 metres across 90 hectares of rolling terrain, playing to a par 72.

The course features 26,000 mature trees that frame most holes, creating natural corridors, along with 80,000 shrubs, undulating hills, sand bunkers, and strategically placed lakes. These design elements make each hole distinctive and memorable. The combination of trees, water hazards, and topography presents a rewarding challenge suitable for both beginners and experienced golfers.

The landscape is characterized by lush green countryside that supports abundant wildlife, including roe deer, carp, catfish, wild ducks, herons, egrets, and migratory storks and swans that return seasonally. The course is designed to blend seamlessly with its natural environment while maintaining playability across all skill levels.
