Epping Golf Course

Epping Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 68 parkland course spanning 5,434 yards located in Epping, Essex. The course features undulating terrain, water hazards, and panoramic views across the Essex countryside, with greens renowned for their quality. Designed and built by golfers for golfers, it offers multiple tee positions to accommodate all skill levels from scratch golfers to beginners, encouraging use of the full range of clubs.

The course was established as a revival of the original Epping Golf Club, which operated until World War II. Development began in 1995 with the opening of nine holes, gradually expanding to the full 18. Over 17,000 trees have been planted on the property, and ten water features have been installed. Beyond the main course, the facility includes a 150-yard covered driving range, chipping and bunker practice areas, and a 3-hole par 3 course. The venue operates as a pay-and-play facility with membership options, buggies available for hire, and on-site food service. Free beginner lessons are offered twice weekly, reflecting the club's welcoming approach to golfers of all abilities.
