Emerald Hills Golf Club is a 27-hole private golf course located in Stouffville, Ontario, approximately 35 minutes from downtown Toronto. Originally opened in 1982, the course was designed by the late René Muylaert and takes full advantage of the ruggedly scenic Oak Ridges Moraine landscape. The original 18 holes were respected enough to host the Nations Cup in 1999 and 2000, a Ryder Cup-style team competition featuring LPGA players representing Canada and the United States. In 2005, acclaimed designer Thomas McBroom added nine additional "inland links" holes, bringing the total to 27 holes and providing members with greater variety. One of ClubLink's four founding courses established in 1993, Emerald Hills features a recently renovated 20,000 square-foot clubhouse with views overlooking the course. Despite its proximity to Highway 404, the course maintains a secluded atmosphere within a revered natural area surrounding Greater Toronto.
