El Legado Golf Resort is an 18-hole par-72 course spanning 7,193 yards built in 2002 and designed by island legend Chi Chi Rodriguez on 285 acres of a former horse ranch. Located on the south east coast of the island, El Legado is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Puerto Rico. The property is surrounded by the mountains called "La Cordillera Central" to the north and the Caribbean Sea to the south. The course has a rating of 76.6 with a slope of 137, providing an open parkland layout that will test most facets of your game and provide plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges.

The layout includes several water hazards, undulating fairways, and well-manicured greens that require precision and strategic shot-making. The prevailing strong winds demand the maximum ability of any golfer. Notable features include the unforgettable par-3 15th hole, and views of the mountains throughout the layout and on certain holes a great view of the Caribbean Sea. The course was created as a tribute to the legendary golfer Chi Chi Rodriguez, a Hall of Famer and Puerto Rico's greatest golfing export.
