Ekholtbruket Golfklubb is located at Vestre Ekholtvei 33 in Moss, Norway, and features a unique 18-hole layout constructed on just six physical holes. The course offers a total par of 62 for a full round, with the front and back nines sharing the same greens but utilizing different tee boxes to create distinct routing and challenges. This configuration allows golfers to play a full 9-hole loop twice, with the first three holes played from short and long tees in alternating sequences to ensure a balanced 18-hole experience. The six physical holes range from par 3 to par 4, with specific yardages and handicaps assigned to each. The longest hole on the course is the par 4 second and eighth, stretching 287 meters from the back tee. The layout includes a mix of doglegs, such as the sharp left dogleg on the par 4 third and ninth holes, which features a green split into two plateaus. Several holes are defined by specific hazards, including bunkers surrounding the greens on the par 3 first and seventh holes, and a pond to the right of the par 3 sixth hole. Course difficulty is managed through multiple tee boxes for men and women, with slope ratings ranging from 94 to 104 and course ratings between 58.9 and 60.9. The design incorporates natural elements such as large trees, including a prominent overhanging oak on the fifth hole, and dense vegetation that can obscure fairways. The club also maintains a simulator facility at Carlberg and hosts regular club events, including weekly club nights and local tournaments.
