Edogawa Line Golf Matsudo Course ☆ Follow

The Edogawa Line Golf Matsudo Course is a 68-par, 18-hole layout designed by Yurō Hayashi, located in Kamiyagi, Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture. The course measures 4,609 yards from the regular tees and 4,066 yards from the ladies' tees. The front nine plays to a par of 35, while the back nine is set at a par of 33. The design incorporates varied hole lengths, including a long par-five 12th hole that stretches 483 yards from the regular tees, contrasting with shorter par-3s such as the 11th at 137 yards and the 15th at 114 yards.

Safety modifications were implemented in August 2023 to protect pedestrians and nearby residences. The yardage of the 3rd hole was reduced to 249 yards, and the use of woods is prohibited on the 3rd and 9th holes, restricting players to irons on those specific par-4s. These adjustments have altered the strategic demands of the front nine, particularly on the longer par-4s that require precise approach shots. The course offers daily afternoon half-round play and provides specific discounts for families with students on weekends and holidays.
