Echo Valley Country Club

Echo Valley Country Club is a private 27-hole golf facility located in Norwalk, Iowa, approximately 10 minutes from downtown Des Moines. Founded in 1969 by E.C. "Eddie" Coppola and Hy Diamond, the course was designed with an inclusive, family-oriented philosophy. The layout comprises three nine-hole courses: the Creek Course, Ridge Course, and a third nine.

Recent renovations have significantly enhanced the facility. A new irrigation system was installed on the Creek Course, with control system improvements and mainline replacement on the Ridge Course. The pump station was upgraded with new Watertronics equipment and additional pumps, while the irrigation pond underwent complete dredging. All 27 holes now feature rebuilt bunkers with Capillary Concrete construction and sand imported from Ohio. The Creek Course reopened with newly renovated greens surrounds, modified fairway bunkers, and improved drainage.

The club offers first-class practice facilities alongside its championship golf course, complemented by additional amenities including a swimming pool, tennis court, and clubhouse. The setting provides a well-maintained, member-focused experience suitable for players of varying skill levels.
