The 18-hole, par 72 championship course includes 72 sand traps, four sets of tees, and colorful bluegrass and rye fairways. Designed by Ted Robinson, the Eastlake golf course opened in 1991. The course features almost 1,000 trees, six lakes and three waterfalls. Located in Chula Vista near San Diego, the course offers views of nearby Mount Miguel and the surrounding hills.
The course was designed by world-renowned architect Ted Robinson. The six lakes, three with waterfalls, 72 sandtraps, and well-manicured bent grass greens offer any golfer the ultimate test of skills. The layout provides a moderate challenge suitable for golfers of various skill levels.
The course served as the official host golf course for the San Diego County Open, with the tournament contested in 2020 and originally dating back to 1929.
