The Eastern Shore Yacht and Country Club golf course, built in 1961, features a classic parkland layout with 18 holes and par-70, designed by Ed Ault, Russell Roberts, and Tom Clark. The course is nestled on 125 scenic acres along Pungoteague Creek in Melfa, Virginia. The course boasts Bent Grass greens and Bermuda Grass fairways. At 6,299 yards from the longest tees, the course has a rating of 70.8 and slope rating of 125.

A unique feature is the Taylor Creek Links with holes that shoot across Taylor Creek, providing beautiful views of the Chesapeake Bay marshlands. The course provides a fair challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The club maintains active Ladies Golf and Men's Golf groups, along with online booking for tee times, golf lessons, club repair, and regripping services. The course supports community sponsorship tournaments including fundraising events for local organizations.
